I am a registered member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (membership number 00947574) I began my career with an BSc (Honours) Health and Social Care. As my interest in therapeutic support developed, I completed Post Graduate training to become an Accredited Play Therapist. I continued my studies to complete MA in Practice Based Play Therapy. To complement my work as a play and creative art therapist, I completed a post qualifying certificate in Counselling for Children and Young People. I have additional Vocational training in Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Life Story Work. I recently qualified as an EMDR Therapist.

Julie-Anne works alongside me as a Family Support worker. She joined the team in April 2021 and enjoys working with parents to improve their family life and working with children within school settings.

Julie-Anne has a GNVQ in Health & Social care, an NVQ in Early Years and Educations, Level 3 Certificates in Family Counselling and Counselling Skills, a Diploma in Family Support and a Diploma in Therapeutic Parenting. She also holds qualifications in Foundation level Drawing & Talking Therapy, a Certificate for ADHD Clinical Support, a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, Integrated Attachment Family Therapy and Level 1 DDP .
She is also a Sandstory Skills Practitioner and a Baby Bonding Practitioner.
